Some tweets from Rondel's dad. Sorry, should have seen these earlier (I'm all over the place). But when looking at Tracy's latest follows, OU MBB, OU WBB, Moser, and Dildy's wife, are the most recent (not counting STORM - not basketball related).

If we wrap up Sherfield and get Walker, I think we look better on paper. Current guys should all improve within the system and individually. Get a contributor to back up center and we should be fine.

Zeke Mayo - SDSU

Noticed Custer followed him on IG (Saturday). Mayo followed back.

Then Zeke's dad followed Custer on IG.

Today, Zeke's dad followed Custer on Twitter.

Yes, it's past the deadline so this is kind of weird, but it's another name to (possibly) track if nothing else.

What ever happened to Lofton from La Tech and the big from Wash St. Are they still in play?

I think Northweather and Assanza are washes.

I think one - for Chagrois should be -- because we have NO ONE THERE right now.

If Sherfield is indeed eligible then maybe. But I thought of Goldwire better than most do on here. I would say -- for Gibson's fill in. Even if it's Walker.

Mayo's best offer by far out of HS was from Tulsa. Most of the rest were from teams OU would pay money to come to Norman to play.
Has he improved that much in a year to rate Big 12 interest?
Is OU getting a bit desperate to fill out the roster?
Wouldn't we be better off with a good mid major banger to help in the middle?

It isn’t very valid because Harkless had a ton more opportunities to play well against p5 opponents. If you did top 10 performances regardless of opponent then that would be a better comp, albeit still not a great way to evaluate given the difference in schedules and total games played.

Joe B was a high 4 star out of high school. He is still young and has a lot of time to improve all aspects of his game, too. I can’t imagine any coach in the country would take Harkless over Joe B rn.

Exactly. Also, when you are evaluating a guy like Harkless, who has played four college seasons, 10 cherry-picked games is a ridiculously small sample size. You could just as easily find 10 games where he was horrendous. Add on the fact that Joe B is about a hundred times more athletic, and it's fair to say that of the two, his potential upside is far higher.

I would classify Mayo as very unlikely. It's just weird and something worth monitoring if we see "Zeke Mayo hits the portal" tweets. Out-of-the-blue social media follows. Figured I'd share, lol.

Abogidi - Just visited Maryland this last weekend. I haven't seen OU's name mentioned since he dropped his top 12 3-4 weeks ago. Arizona has been a team I've seen mentioned.
