Tt @ ou

If she could consistently hit that shot she be really really good.

I believe she can hit the three but just hasn't shot it much this year. Didn't check stats, just going from memory.

The girls should enjoy this win for a little while then get back to work tomorrow. A tough game is just around the corner.

my mistake....replied to wrong message.......never mind :)

Yes there you go Kaylon you don't have to dribble every time you catch the ball just go straight up like you did there.

I wish it was on here because I don't believe it. She has to make an easy shot harder.

Why was this game played in the afternoon instead of 7 like normal?

I'm a season ticket holder and received no notice of time change.

If we lose a game, this thread takes off. We win, and nobody responds.

This was about as indicative as the TCU loss. We aren't this good, nor are we that bad. The frustrating thing about this team is that I think we could be this could.

Last year, Sharane hit over forty percent of her threes in conference. Until today, I think she had hit almost nothing from three. Which is the real Sharane Campbell?

Kornet has been the ignition recently. She can get this team moving because she works and hustles. When she hits a three or two, it seems to relieve the pressure on everyone else. I get the feeling that Vegas (Vagus is a nerve that can slow the heart) functions better when she can operate in a flow. She just doesn't create that flow. Kornet can.

Once we got going, everyone relaxed. A very key thing today was that we didn't try to make every shot when we threw it in to the post. If it wasn't there, we threw it back out. I loved it when Kay Kay and Morgan played catch three or four times before Kay Kay spun. She was wide open for the spin.

Tech isn't a good team. They have one really good player, and we kept her under control. I think she was two of seventeen for four points. They are getting better. It just didn't show today. But, they ran into a hot shooting OU, and that can beat a team. We just lost to a TCU team that shot well, and they can't shoot that well in practice.

These are first class young ladies. It is good to see them have a great night in the final home game of the season.

I was just able to play catch up a bit today. Tech is the worst basketball team - men or women - I have ever seen.

We got hot from behind the arc.

I beginning to agree with Syb-- as Kornet goes, so goes this team. I felt bad for Griffith today.

I wonder what has made Sherri play Durrett more the last couple of games? Toughness? That would bey guess.

I can't guess what this team will do Saturday night against UT or OSU.

I can only hope.

For some reason I felt a lot more sorry today for Morgan. I don't know why.

Anyone catch the emotional aftermath of Senior night and have a report?

I imagine they will all be emotional. The thing is that 3 of them will probably be pretty quiet when speaking and, thus, Morgan will seem more emotional.

As far as Kornet, she has played some games well as of late but I do not think she is the key. JMO Maybe she has been a key in a game as of late, but different players have made the difference in different games. Sharane was their game changer for a while (or so it seemed to me) then after the Baylor game at OU it appeared her game went down. Morgan Hook has been a difference maker and Vegas. Of course, this is just the way I see it. I could be seeing it all wrong. ---darnit

I watched the post game ceremony and it was very, very good. Portia was very emotional, so much she could hardly speak. Nicole wasn't quite at all, nor were Morgan or Aaryn. Sherri was very emotional, especially when talking about Aaryn and Morgan. Vise versa as well. Sherri said she she'd known Morgan for nearly 10 years because she started recruiting her in the seventh grade. Aaryn and Morgan lightened it up a bit, but both were very emotional talking about their families and Coale.

You can watch the Senior Night Ceremonies on SoonerVision. It is still up and probably will be for a week or more. I don't know if it is premium only or available to everyone.

I was rather impressed by each of the player's ability to address a crowd. They demonstrated the comfort and experience of being seasoned in such a situation. I'm rather proud of them.

Aaryn almost forgot to address Coach Coale. She was about to walk off, suddenly reacted as though someone had reminded her, and thanked Coale.

It's a shame it takes a team 18 conference games and a senior night to finally kind of put it together against a really bad Texas Tech team. However, nice to see it made a nice send off to our seniors. From what I have seen we get Texas Saturday night. A very winnable game for our girls. I assume that West Virginia will get the two seed. Love to see the kids put it together and make the finals. Was proud of the way the gals played this afternoon, especially Kornet and Portia.

Thanks for the insight Hawks00. I would have loved to have been there.

Do you have link for that? I can't find it as a premium or otherwise. Thanks in advance.

Unfortunately we had no coverage up here. On those days I have to rely on others to recap the game.
