So your view of basketball is that a player's worth is based solely on shooting numbers? So if a guy gets 15 boards, blocks three shots, plays great defense, passes the ball well, but goes 1-6, he had a bad game? I guess Sam has cracked the code -- just never attempt a shot that isn't a dunk or layup, and you're automatically a stud.

Nah probably just paid more. A recent poll had Arkie thought of as the #1 bball school for NIL.

I'd say yes, or at least, better than a guy who plays 15-20 minutes and puts up no points, a couple rebounds, and commits 3 or 4 fouls. If you defend, rebound, and distribute, you are helping your team in a ton of ways.

But again, the bigger point is, seven games is a small sample to judge shooting numbers. Even great shooters have terrible 7-game stretches. The fact that he was attempting so many 3s makes me think he has shown himself to be at least an average shooter -- his coach isn't an idiot, and wouldn't allow him to shoot that many 3s if he had the outside shot of, say, Godwin or KJ Adams.

Ignore works very well. Derangement Syndrome is alive and well in politics and religion but you hate to see it on a sports board.

OU moved down to 14th, but I think the a voter in the AP poll messed up. OSU has 16 points in the poll and if those were meant to go to OU, we'd be 13.

I think we can call this a fact .. that voter put OKstate at 10 instead of OU at 10
