Politic’n. I love it
I would actually be ok with NC State over UVA, but to be candid, neither one of those teams is going to beat UNC. I'm actually looking forward to the UNM/CSU game....but it's going to well into the night. Not sure I can make all the way through that one.there are 4 teams left on the "bubble" trying to get in .
Providence and UVA playing now .. colorado and UNM later ... all are behind OU and I don't think any would pass OU with a win today ..
I don’t want to turn this into a Moser thread but I agree with this. Coaches have won at OU. OU is a program known to make the tournament consistently.I think the right coach can win here. Why? Because every coach other than PM has. Capel was a bad coach but at least he had the recruiting chops to land BG and give us a couple good seasons. With the exact roster we currently have, I think the vast majority of coaches in our league would have been able to get another 3 wins or so for us this season.

I hope Wazzu can do us a solid against Colorado....the DeSilva guy for Colorado is a really good player btw.
To be fair, Blake came here because he’s an okie and his brother was already here. You’re giving capel far too much credit. Also, the game has changed and OUs inadequacies have become magnified x1000. Without admin and donor support, OU has failed to keep up will continue to fail, while our competition has passed us by.I think the right coach can win here. Why? blake was coming to OU for any HC NOT named kelvin Sampson ...To be fair, Blake came here because he’s an okie and his brother was already here. You’re giving capel far too much credit. Looking back at what once was does us no good. It’s a different game now.
think of how well thought of purdue is they have not made the final 4 in 44 yearsI just read that Nebraska has NEVER won a tournament game. Think how little support THAT program gets. Kudos to Hoiberg for staying and putting together a great season!
Oh yikes.think of how well thought of purdue is they have not made the final 4 in 44 years
Doesn't really belong here but, in the rare chance OU misses the tourney, I'd be in favor of not going to the NIT. Some will agree, some will disagree. I'd much rather Moser just get to work on the portal, etc.
A lot of teams will start to do this, probably.
Oh man I could see OU vs Oregon play in game. One team that played themselves into the tournament and one team that almost played themselves out.A10: CONFIRMED THIEF
AAC: all but FAU
P12: Oregon
bid thieves are down to Oregon and the AAC possibility the A10 thief is already baked in to projections

It’s certainly not going to be a shock if that happens. And if we lose a play-in, it won’t even feel like we made the tournament.I’m starting to think our odds of missing the tourney are very slim but our odds of Dayton are very strong.
