If Oregon makes the tournament and OU doesnt… gotta feel alittle bad for Soares. But there’s a lesson in there too. The grass ain’t always greener on the other side of the transfer portal.

Seeing how good Soares is for us, it’s hard to figure out what happened at Oregon. His numbers were very pedestrian.

Well, I think it was. I mean he was willing to come off the bench. So clearly playing time wasn’t the issue. I think Moser sold a lot of the guys on that he could get them to the tournament this year.

Providence and UVA playing now .. colorado and UNM later ... all are behind OU and I don't think any would pass OU with a win today ..

Groves brothers were underrated by ou fans imo. Tanner was a good college post. Jacob was a solid bench college stretch forward. They were hardly the problem for us coming up short last few seasons.

Yeah I paid attention early in the season and he was playing well and starting but I think he fell out of the starting lineup.

He would have been nice to have on OU’s team this year coming off the bench but I don’t think OU missed him that much.

I think we’re in but if we slide all the way out and miss the tourney, we have nobody to blame but ourselves. We’ve had numerous chances to solidify our chances at lock status and failed miserably.

I’m not sure moser is the guy and if we miss the tourney, he should be gone. If we’re in this same situation next season, he should be fired.

Unfortunately, regardless of the head coach, we still have program wide problems that need fixing and until they’re fixed, every coach will have the same problems. There are better coaches out there but the question becomes…why would they come here to face all these obstacles when they don’t have to?

I think the right coach can win here. Why? Because every coach other than PM has. Capel was a bad coach but at least he had the recruiting chops to land BG and give us a couple good seasons. With the exact roster we currently have, I think the vast majority of coaches in our league would have been able to get another 3 wins or so for us this season.
