This CU game … man Wash St has shot themselves in the foot a few times. This game could be THE one that determines if we go to Dayton. A lot of the teams that some brackets had right behind us have already lost, so the Buffs could be the ones to watch.

Committee didn't care OU beat a top-25 team in the Big12 tournament in 2022, I don't think they are going to care that a crappy team beats an unranked team in the bubble battle.

I will gladly eat crow, but the committee has shown a precedent for this in the past.

That top 25 team was #4 ranked Baylor, then OU lost by 1 pt to #12 Texas Tech in the Semis. 19-16 OU had a top 40 NET and wasn't even in the 1st four out. I don't think the committee even bothered looking at OU again once the conference tourneys started.

Again, saying they didn’t care is just wrong. That win helped us quite a bit, just not enough.

I've seen UNM play a couple of times this year. Their PG House is a really good player and he is lighting quick. But he is also a bit of a punkass and very easy to root against.

Really hard for me to see TAMU being out completely right now. Unless all of these bracket gurus are just way off, it would appear our bid to the Tourney is safe— even if a bid thief like Oregon comes through. But it also appears our odds to be in the play-in have increased by the day. In other words, seems we’ve moved down the ladder, but enough teams failed to advance that will probably keep us in.

Not sure we have a very good argument to be slotted above NM or CU with the NET disparity being so wide. Hopefully the fact that we are close to Pitt, TAMU, SH, etc and probably beat them in other metrics helps.

I bet we are legit right on the Dayton cut line. Somewhere between the first or second to last team with a bye or third or fourth on the last four in list. The bid thieves could push us to Dayton… then again, maybe we are already slotted there 🤷🏻‍♂️
