Will benefit most from being coached by an experienced and successful coach like Krugs?

I am going with Bird. I think he will blossom under the new system and demands. Look for him to take off like Cade did as an upperclassman.

Fitz.

He WILL rebound and defend better.

Blair. Kruger's offenses seem to live/die with how well the PG plays.

I hope it is Tyler Neal. He needs to have a fire lit under him.

Blair, because Kruger played the same position at K-State. But to be perfectly honest, I think every player on the team will benefit from LK's coaching.

I'll go with Cam. Kruger will find ways to get him open looks, therefore increasing his confidence and eventually leading him to take over games on his natural talent alone once he gets confident enough in his abilities.

Capel played the same position at Duke. That worked out well for Blair. lol.

I know it became cool to bash Blair, but he was not that bad in his first year running a Big XII team. Did he have some infuriating TOs? Yes. Did he get better throughout the year? Yes. 1.5 a/to on that team last year wasn't terrible. Averaged 8 pts and 4.6 assts during conference play.

I agree. Blair wasn't that bad (he needs to improve but I think he will). His 25% from 3 point range was probably worse than his turn overs. Now in fairness to a pg, sometimes they get stuck with the ball and have to force a shot but 25% is just too low. If Blair can shoot above 30% from three, eliminate .5 turn overs a game and add .5 assists per game he will have pretty strong numbers. I think he can do it.

I'd like a point guard who can defend people.

Blair is a fine back-up in the Big 12.

Hoping it's Newell.
I think he has more upside than Pledger and would like to see him starting at the 2.

You missed my point (no pun intended). I also followed that comment by saying that all of our players will benefit from Kruger's coaching. Do I need to say more? :D

I really hope its Fitz and Pledger. We know that Clark and Osby are high level players, but we need Fitz and Pledger to be high level guys as well.

Hopefully Lon and his staff can get these guys in shape and put them in situations to be better.

i was going to say this. partly because i believe it and partly because no one had mentioned him. he looks to be a good athlete but he played a bit out of control and seemed to not have a grip on running the offense at times. kruger was a great point guard and has had some good ones play for him. his son kevin was the pg when they went to the sweet sixteen a few years ago and was very good.

actually i hope he has a positive influence on everyone.

Lots of different answers here.

I'd like to see Coach Kruger really inspire Tyler Neal to get after it in the weight room this summer so that he can play the 4 and not get abused on the glass.
