Which scenario excites you

A. We beat OSU on Saturday and sign Guerrero & Jurick, Capel returns as head coach next season.

B. We lose to OSU on Saturday don't sign either Guerrero or Jurick and BCG is named head coach.

Have you lost so much confidence in Capel that you would choose B?

I'd honestly pick B, because even if we sign Guerrero and Jurick we are looking at a half full LNC at best for all of next season. Bringing in a new coach will bring more energy into the program.

Yeah, which is best for us in three seasons? Four? If we get a couple pretty good players and make a run to get a bid at the tourney but continue to suck overall doesn't that just prolong the pain?

I don't care what happens w/ OSU. If he cant land Guerrero OR Jurick..than its probably time to say goodbye. If he gets one and another player...than he should be given 1 more year. If he lands both..than no question he should...If doesn't land either, than its time to say goodbye.

Are they going to strengthen our defense or make us better rebounders?? Are they going to bring in direction or create an identity for us???

I am totally lost here. I don't get where people think our entire problem is entirely due to talent. You can teach ANYBODY to play a little defense and the ability to BATTLE to GET INTO POSITION for REBOUNDS!!!

I think this is important to take note of. Many of the problems with Capel coached teams have not been talent related, i.e. playing solid defense consistently, day in day out.

There is no way Joe can wait to see how recruiting goes. A decision will be made immediately after our Big 12 tourney departure one way or the other. Waiting to see who signs would be suicide. Unless Jurick or Guerrero verbal before our season is over they will be nonfactors in the decision.
