In 3 point shooting % (let's say minimum 10 attempts)? How about made 3 pointers?

Number of 3 pointers made: Buddy Hield. because he will take more shots from behind the arc than anyone else.

3 point percentages: Cousins, Hield, Booker, Walker and Woodard, in that order.

Four of my top five averaged 37% or better from three point range last season. Throw in Dinjyl Walker, who averaged just under 40% last season at Iowa Western CC, and this should be a very good three point shooting team.

Buddy is the probable choice on both, but to make an interesting pick I'll go with Booker to edge out buddy on 3s made.

Booker on % and Hield on makes.

Booker on % and Hield on makes.

Dark horse: Cousins on makes, Hield on %.

I feel like this is a year Hield focuses on driving to the rim and playmaking, to audition for the NBA and really draw double-teams away from other players. I think Isaiah will benefit from opposing D's attempts to curtail Buddy. He'll get more minutes at the 2/3 position than Booker. More open shots, and probably more baskets.

Since Buddy is a rhythm shooter, will be on the floor for a huge amount of time, and get time to set his defenders up and find his range, he could lead the team in 3pt% on a smaller number of shots from beyond the arc. He should realize by now his driving game can set up his long game.

Based on what I saw this summer. And of course, it could change by the time the season rolls around. While it is pretty close between Booker and Buddy, Booker is measurably the most accurate shooter. I would give him the edge on 3 pt. shooting pct. Cousins is a dandy. But, his pct goes up rapidly just inside the line.

Buddy will probably lead the team in about every other offensive category.

Buddy will make the most and JW will be very efficient this season.
