Ha! Your fingers are going to be stained red permanently, with all the cherry-picking you're doing. Next you'll be citing oswho's success against OU on days when the temperature outside was below 43 degrees or the moon was full or the games were played on odd-numbered dates.

There are several threads on your pumpkin board blaming your choke job loss on the stripes. Hope you are reprimanding them.

How does it feel to know your degree means less than mine because it says Oklahoma State on it? Most of the country thinks OSU is Ohio State. Some even think Oregon State. Not even Boone can spend enough money to change that.

If your team is just so much better then OU as you claim. How did you lose to us in Norman? And why did it take Overtime to beat us at your sold out arena? Face it, you are a good team, But its hard to argue that you are that much better when you have to go to overtime to win at home after already losing to us once.

You do know Kruger has a losing record in the NCAA tourney, right? Even Sampson was .500 and he was the king of the 1st round flop. I don't think Kruger is bad but let's not aft like he's carrying a 40-25 NCAA record like Eddie's.

Well if you had actually done research instead of going to Wikipedia, you might have your facts right. He actually has a winning record in the tourney. Here is what his bio on soonersports says: "Kruger has led 13 teams to the NCAA Tournament, has a 14-13 record in those games, and is 8-5 all-time in first-round games, including wins in five of the last seven." I will take that over 1-3 any day...

Here's another little stat for Stout to chew on -- since 2007, the first season following the departures of Eddie Sutton and Kelvin Sampson, and including this year, OU is 9-7 against oswho. And those seven seasons saw four of the worst OU teams in half a century.

The truly funny thing about this season is its the worst thing that could happen to OSU. Because of the success of this years squad Ford's leash has grown longer. OSU under Ford can squeak out a good season with a bunch of close wins with one of the best players in the country, but when Smart leaves they will fall just like the Capel led Sooners without Griffin. We won't be seeing much of posters like Stout over the next 4 years.

I can see that trajectory with Ford. That is, given he won't perpetually sign elite players of Smart's stature.

I've been critical of Ford in the past (and for good reason), but he does deserve a lot of credit for going down and nabbing Smart; we all know recruiting is a critical aspect in this game. Point being, it'll be interesting to see if he can build momentum from this successful season going forward. I don't foresee him having as ugly of an outcome as Capel did, but I still feel better having Kruger as OU's head coach than I would if it were Ford.

This is my fear as an OSU fan. I was hoping we would dump him the minute smart attended his first class and got a real coach in there.

Just imagine if Kruger could have taken the reigns with Willie Warren, Tiny, etc that would have been scary.

I check this board maybe weekly and have been too busy watching my top 15-20 ranked and relevant team play ball in front of back to back sellout crowds. Two things that team of yours can only think about. I can tell having a lesser season than us for however many straight years is killing you guys Are you guys even going to get a vote again this season? Maybe crack 8k at the fallout shelter this weekend?

I hope both teams can meet in the Big 12 tourney, would be fun to up our record to 4-0 against you guys in it.
