I'm watching this game on DVR (recorded it a few days ago) and I took a quick shot with my iphone of a graphic on the screen.

Look at the stats between the two teams in 1992. Why does osu think they are a basketball school? This game was played 22 years ago and nothing has really changed since then. The football school, OU, still owns them in basketball.

They think they are a basketball school cause their BB teams were above average and there football team was woeful. OU is an all sport school with a heavy emphasis on football.

One thing that absolutely hasn't changed, with OU's win yesterday, is that OU leads the series by 36 games again. Sadly, even a lot of OU fans don't even know that OU even leads Bedlam, much less by a margin that's safe for roughly 18 years.

I was at that game. We lost. O-State was either undefeated or had just one loss. I'm pretty sure they were in the top 5. We got them back in Stillwater, though.

On a side note, I always thought their black road unis were REALLY sharp. Their embrace of that vomit and velveeta concoction that passes for orange is just nuts. Such an ugly color. I was completely enamored with Nike's first forays into uniform production, of which O-State was front and center in the late 90s.

I was at that game as well. Big Monday with Ron Franklin doing PBP and we lost by 3 I believe. OSU was ranked really high and truth be told that was probably Eddie Sutton's best team but they lost to the fab five in the sweet 16. I can remember thinking after that game the 2 programs were trading places. We had dominated them for all of Tubbs tenure but once Sutton arrived things started to change. Then we went to Stillwater and shocked them later that season and Tubbs managed to keep OU even with OSU until Sampson took over and it was much the same while Eddie was at OSU.

I liked the black uni's too. They were very sharp.

I was at that game as well...the "jethro" and "daddy's boy" chants were awesome.

The 1992 OU team was one of my favorites. They had a tough start in conference and really got hot at the end of the year, winning in Stillwater and Columbia, even Billy Packer was picking us as his dark horse final four team. However Brian Sallier injures his knee against KU and we lose that game and in the first round of the tournament to a hyphenated school in Louisiana.
