Yeah, it'll be interesting to see how the react to Reaves. WSU has gotten multiple transfers in recent years, and their best player next season may be Teddy Allen, who was a freshman at West Virginia last year. But fans aren't logical, so I expect some to be pretty salty toward Reaves.

Similar to last year, I would like to see us go on the road early and play another team or two the caliber of UT Rio Grand Valley. Maybe even a slight step up and play at UTA like we did in Buddy's freshman year. Plus it's right down the road from me.

Amen. I went to that game and enjoyed it alot. It was kind of the real opening of their new arena, and I enjoyed talking to their fans about "the stage" LOL.

As expected, we play at Creighton in the Big 12/Big East challenge. KU at Nova is the headliner. Texas Tech plays at DePaul, can't believe they didn't get paired with a better opponent.

Depaul is playing in the CBI Championship against an average-at-best South Florida team... After your post I took a quick look and even though Depaul pretty much sucked this year, they should be worse next year because their top 4 scorers are seniors.

Probably going to be a total dumpster fire next year.

Minnesota returns 4 of their top 6 players, including leading scorer Amir Coffey (G; 6-8; 210). Coffey, as a junior, led the team in scoring (16.6), assists (115) and minutes per game (35.3). Coffey is testing his NBA possibilities, but is expected to return for his senior season.

Two other Minnesota starters were freshmen, and both averaged 10 points per game.

Sioux Falls and Portland. That is quite a road trip to start the season. To summarize, here is what we know so far.

Saturday, Nov 9 .. vs. Minnesota (Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, SD)

Tuesday, Nov 12 .. vs. Oregon State (Moda Center in Portland, Ore / Phil Knight Invitational)

(2 Games) Mon & Tue; Nov 25-26 .. Hall of Classic (at Sprint Center in Kansas City)
................... 4 team tournament including Butler, Mizzou and Stanford .. Bracket to be announced at later date

So far, no home games that we know about, although we could assume that UTRGV and UTSA might return the favor and play in Norman this autumn.

We get Stanford in the first game of the Hall of Fame Classic. It might go under the radar, but the bad thing is being stuck with a home game against Maryland Eastern Shore -- we avoided playing any RPI killers last season, but that will almost certainly be a quad 4 opponent.
