The fact that we can play that poorly on offense and be down 8 gives me a slither of hope. But I mostly just want to see good effort and much better execution in second half. Whatever happens, happens.

Exactly. The defense will keep us in almost every game. Just make a few more shots and a few less turnovers and we'll be fine.

UNC just looks better-coached right now. We’ll see if that turns around.

They do look like the better coached team. And the sad part is that Davis isn't really that good of a coach.....their fans would even tell you that. UNC has always won with talent....period. And yet, we look like a careless team playing out of control. It's not just the TOs, it's bad/wild shots that have led to fast break points. We are beyond lucky to only be down 8. We have to play at least our A- game to have a chance against teams like UNC....we are about a C- tonight.

Seton Hall beat UConn by 15. If OU can figure something out in the 2nd half they will be a top 5 team. Still a long ways to go to really even think about that.

No, I mean that 8-10 min stretch was embarrassing. It felt like UNC was about to run away and hide but we were able to hang in there. The last 10 minutes of the half we didn’t play well. Our offense was way too much one on one with little movement. UNC has been better defensively than us. The refs were very favorable to UNC the last 8 minutes or so.

We were on the verge of falling way behind but we are still in it.

Definitely needs to clean up the TOs. By far our worst half of the season. Give some credit to UNC for good defense but half of our TOs were self-inflicted.

If we keep getting blown up inside on offense this 2nd half won't get any closer. UNC is dominating inside and we aren't making any shots to force them out of the paint.

That half is also why we need Northweather ready to play a few productive minutes per half at times. Hugley has 3 and Godwin has 2 so quite possible we’ll need a few more this half.
