Then I guess Tennessee doesn't have any SEC talent after their loss at home to a DII team. Or Syracuse last year when they lost at home to a D2 team also. BBJ is a hack.
This team might not have a lot of talent, but they play hard and don't give up. Last year's team would've lost this game b/c they had no heart. Few teams will beat anyone shooting 1-20 from 3 for the first 39 minutes.

BBJ also said OU would destroy texas tech last week and said ostate would win easily at texas, he is right some of the time. I am not a huge fan of his but his criticism of OU basketball is valid. OU has a bunch of role players that would not start on many big 12 teams. Where is the future talent of OU basketball?
Playing hard means nothing to me unless OU wins. It is all about wins and loses, that's how every OU team should be judged.

Newel, Cam, Pledger and Fitz are Big XII talent and the future of OU basketball. It's silly to say otherwise. I understand the frustration with the talent level of this team, I feel it too. But it is wrong to bedowngrade the quality players on this team.

First statement - could be true (I don't know for sure).
Second statement - clown talk.
How about Cam, TJ, Newell, Fitz, and Pledger? All are talented enough to play at the Big XII level, they're just Fr and Sos: there's your future. Osby will be big next year. Goff was recruited by Big XII and Big 10 teams. This team will very talented the next 2 years.

Last years group was less talented simply because they weren't willing to really play basketball together. This years group is playing hard together. And I think they are more talented than people get them credit for. Cameron Clark, Fitzgerald, and Newell all look like promising young players to me. I thought Fitzgerald was just okay last year. He showed some potential. But he's about half the size and about 3 times the player he was last year. I think he's got a better future than Keith Gallon had.
