Big 12 Seeding

Well don't get your hopes up. The Kitties always hand us our *** in Manhattan.

While this may be true, the chances of winning are higher against the bad teams vs the top teams. Ksu is a bad team. The chances of getting those 6 wins decreases if we can’t beat ksu.

The odds of us beating a bad OSU team at home are exponentially better than beating a bad KSU team in Manhattan.

Of course I'll be extremely pleased it we do both.

What I wouldn't give to get to the #3 seed in KC....and likely play Texas or TCU again. That would be the best opportunity to squash the losing streak up there. This isn't out of the realm of possibility, but we would need Tech and WV to stub their toe unexpectedly at least once along with us getting to at least 10/11 wins. Probably asking a little too much at this point.

Probably. But I like where your head is! I’m with ya!!!

Taking care of home court and winning at the Peake gets us to 10. Used to be able to take that to the bank.
Bieniemy/Harmon/Manek/Doolittle continue to play like Saturday, we have a shot. Reaves remembering how to hit 3s and we have a good shot.
Would be nice to develop some consistency.

That would get us to 9-9. We've got one road win (Texas) and one home loss (Kansas).

Correct. I mistakenly counted the MissSt win. Need another road win to get to 10. I wouldn't count on that.

The way I see the rest of the games, based on probability and likelihood of winning:

H Iowa St- W
@ Kansas- L
H Baylor- L
@ OSU- W
H T Tech- W
@ WVa- L
H Texass W
@ TCU- W

That puts us at 10-8 and 20-11, with a couple of games that could go either way. Barring any collapse, hard to project us finishing lower than 5 in conference, based on the other teams struggles Going 11-7 or 9-9 is a real possibility either way, but I think all three scenarios, after a Q1 win Saturday, gets us in the tournament.
