Buddy is smart not to take the bait and make the game a Hield vs. Simmons match up. I was impressed with the postgame interview after Tech how Buddy goes out of his way to compliment his teammates and share the credit. This shows great leadership by a young man who knows that it will take a team effort to win a championship. Buddy is not only a remarkable player, he is a remarkable person in the way he handles the media attention & his team. One of a kind.

Buddy's personality and his humble spirit, despite his success this season, are just two of the things that have endured him to OU fans as well as sports broadcasters everywhere. He is not only complimentary of his teammates and coaches, he treats everyone he meets with respect.
