I didnt take anything out of context, and I read the entire junk post. Its a bunch of bull**** trying to justify keeping the biggest head coaching failure in the history of the program around because you didnt want to admit you were wrong. The rest of the quote was irrelevant. It was garbage.

It was, at least in part, a review on Jurick and Cezar. Otherwise you wouldnt have said, "IF WE LAND THEM, THIS WILL HAPPEN"..

There is a difference between hating on OSU and douching up every thread with bedlam smack. We sound like a bunch of aggies, when every thread turns into an OSU hatefest. Forgive me, if I want to read about OU, sometimes, without a boca OSU hillbilly quote.

These arguments are like political discussions. No one is going to convince the other.

I will say that when cam clark committed to ou not once did I downgrade him (in my mind) talent wise. I didn't agree with his decision, but I still think hes going to be a very solid player. Same with One Patio.

Since there seems to be a faction of this board that doesn't like OSU (or other Big XII teams) discussed at all (and then goes in that thread to say just that), I'm surprised the moderators haven't created a separate "Big XII Basketball" sub-forum, like they have with the NBA. I know that personally, I wouldn't be in the WT part of the forum if non-OU Big XII basketball was in another section.

I know I have enjoyed coming on this board and discussing or reading about recruits or discussions on different teams. Really this is the only board out there worth a damn for OU or OSU or even State of Oklahoma hoops in general. But there has been recent posts that remind me of the rivals main board. Seems like you can't even get good discussion in threads because like someone said early it turns into a mindless bedlam or flame fest. I can go read baseless 9 year old bashes on all the OSU and OU football boards.

There is nothing wrong with a little hate in a rivalry. I can't stand the color crimson, but I am going with Big on this issue. You can talk all the smack you want about respective schools, but it makes you look like an idiot when you bag on the opposition's players for lack of talent unless it is so. When this board first started there were many quality posters with a ton of basketball knowledge that might rag an opponent if they lost or had a down year but they gave credit to players when it was due. Unfortunately, many of them have left taking much of the credibility of this board as a basketball forum with them.

I actually agree on the elevation part of CG's game. I like his handles and his outside shot. He might be able to come off the bench and be a nice spark.

As for Jurick, If he can defend the post and get some garbage buckets, I'll be happy. Oh and if he can also play a whole half without fouling out.

You seem like an uncommonly level-headed person (for an aggie), and I agree with most of your post. The smack absolutely should be aimed at the fans/posters of the opposing schools, and the players should be left out of it.
