Yeah but Turner has a great reputation as a recruiter. Any ideas on replacements?

And, was Turner responsible for either of our top 100 guys in the fall? Hopefully not an excuse for someone to get out of an LOI.

Highly doubt it. His region is texas. We can def attribute chagrois as a KT recruit, however.

it is all from his time at memphis

From what I've read this is all because of his time as a booster. But they had to have hired him knowing this so it overall seems pretty stupid if this was the result. Basically he paid a recruit as a booster 5 years ago.

as someone said "everyone but kansas"

Exactly what I was thinking! Hardaway’s charges read like a carbon copy of what Self was reportedly facing several months ago. Yet, here we are nearly a full season later and Bill is still smiling like he knows something we don’t.

And, maybe he does! The question is, how does he get away with it?

When the Pokes got punished I was at first thinking we may see Kansas get hammered but since then it's become clear that OSU for whatever reason was an example and nobody else is getting touched in the entire Adidas stuff even though there was people arrested and naming names federally.

Didn’t Arizona get some kind of punishment? LSU just fired their coach because they’re probably getting ready to be punished. KU? LOL. They’re the biggest cheaters in all of this and they won’t be punished at all. It’s ridiculous that KU continues to get away with blatant cheating for the last 30+ years and never gets punished.

Travis Steele, fired from Xavier, was just announced to Miami (OH).

Wow, Butler is now open.

Today is a big day FWIW. A lot of buyouts drop on April 1st. I think that's the case here with Butler (not 100%).

For the last year, Matta was the assistant basketball AD at Indiana. Not sure beyond that.

Matta lives across the street from the Butler AD - Barry Collier - so this definitely makes sense. Collier hired Matta as an assistant at Butler back in '97 and when Collier left to take over at Nebraska, Matta became the Butler head coach. Matta coached Butler for a year and then went to Xavier.
