If thats your logic than KU got worse, losing to OU, OSU, and TCU? FYI, they are probably a #1 seed this year.

KU did get worse. FYI, they probably aren't a #1 seed, losing to Baylor most definatly gave them a 2 seed or lower.

With a Senior laden roster we did about as should have been expected. Lon will prove his worth the next couple of seasons. Lesser coaches would have us in the NIT, but I think we'll be on par with this season at minimum.

I believe before the season started I said this team's ceiling was that of a bubble-type team.

As for Hield...his ppg will be around 3 to 5(remember this). Its obvious that the biggest contributor off the bench will be whoever doesn't start between M'Baye, Osby, Fitz and Clark. Neal will be 2nd in ppg off the bench.

As much as I would like to pick OU high...We return a team that went .500 and we only add M'Baye who we know can contribute right away...everyone else is up in the air. And I for one will not get too excited for a bunch of freshmen that weren't ranked very high on any recruiting site.

Hield has done a good job...but your acting like he's the reason we've done good this year. He comes back...gets 25mins and 10pts against TCU and we lose. He doesn't play against ISU and we win by almost 20. We beat KU, he played 28mins, had 2 pts and we still won.

You nailed that one, Booger. I gotta admit though, I'm still puzzled over your initial response to the thread about Ford yelling when an opposing player was shooting a free throw.

I probably didn't word it right, but I like competitive nature of Ford. I don't agree with all of his antics, but in the end the guy competes. I respect and admire competitors. Maybe because I'm uber-competitive too. Every facet of my life is competition with someone and I love a challenge.

And if you didn't notice, when Hield was out we played some of our best Bball. We beat WV, ISU, and Baylor by 15pts. And we should have held on to the 22pt lead we had on Texas.

Hield has a much bigger impact on defense and the other facets of the game and can score when needed. The problem is Buddy doesn't look to score as much as he could because he recognizes we have better options (Ro, M'Baye, Pledger). I don't have a problem with that.
