Watching that last play again, we did a nice job defending it. They brought both bigs to the elbows and the ball was in Wolf’s hands. Goldin rolled to the rim but Taylor did a good job defending him and he and Sam both were physical trying to box him out. They didn’t have a lot of time to really play two-man game, so Taylor just had to stay with Goldin for a couple seconds on the role and he did the job. I’m surprised Wolf didn’t just put the ball on the floor and try to force us to help, but I ain’t complaining!!

Taylor is just a really winning basketball player smart on defense and can do lots of things pretty good ..

I have no idea why so many college teams rely on isolation ball and/or settle for jumpers at the end of the game when they can win the game with a two. That works a lot in the NBA because players are so talented and can make tough shots, but in college, it’s so different. Especially when you have the two bigs they have!!

I was gonna say, they do it because that's what they see in the NBA and use it. Basketball has evolved into an isolation/one on one game alot over the last few years with rule changes and points of emphasis favoring athletic, offensive styles.

Like this year with the point of emphasis on "fake fouls" and "flopping" at the HS level. Just dumb.

Players and coaches steal thing they see from other players and coaches.

I was like you and expecting UM to go back to the bigs at the end.

Well… what a finish. I was hoping we’d stay close. Honestly didn’t think a win was in the cards.

Incredible take by Fears…especially after the two TO’s… kid is special.

Officiating…. I thought pretty bs the whole night. Guys were getting tossed and nothing, then a touch foul. I’m sure Mich fans thought it was a bad call at the end… but we got plenty throughout the game.

Thought Mich settled for a bad shot at the end…

Big win, but I didn’t think a loss would have been horrible either.

Fears is the best freshman at OU in a long time. Definitely a Trae-level talent and seems to be extremely clutch.

He's better than Trae was imo
