GAME 15 - #16 OKLAHOMA (13-1) vs #10 TEXAS A&M (12-2) 8pm CST on SEC NETWORK

SMART GUARDS THEY SAID. Maybe overdribble for the 100th time and hope something different happens. HS ball there
I agree with this. I got very tired of watching Elvis and Miles dribble until they turned it over or tried to make a desperation pass, especially in the second half. Fears dribbles too much, too, but at least he's capable of creating and making a shot. We moved the ball well in the first half. The Aggies tightened the perimeter defense in the second, and we went into 2K dribble mode, which led to a lot of turnovers.

AND we left their hottest player wide open for the game winner. Maybe guard that guy and make someone else beat you? I don’t know.

Well in defense of Taylor, Sam tripped him as he was trying to guard Phelps. We hadn't stopped him in the 2nd half, but Taylor was probably our best option to try and guard him on that last possession.

I was referencing his masterful designed play where fears caught the ball and was asking someone to move that didn't move and then we panicked and went street ball and shot an airball. Yes.. that is on PM. It would have been better to not have used a timeout... I knew the shot would be terrible immediately when he took a timeout bc pm "designed" it.

I'm honestly surprised we didn't inbounds the ball and score a layup on the wrong goal on the other side of the court to be honest
No you weren’t. You specifically quoted someone talking about the missed front end

A few of the new guys, specifically Kobe and Duke, look like they have no business getting big minutes on a major conference team.....tonight they look like mid-major players. And if those are 2 of your top 3 guards (to go along with our deficiencies inside), it's going to be a long conference season once again....sigh.
I guess I'm just a simpleton.. but I would have played goodine the most minutes out of everyone tonight. The guy was only 9-11. I prolly would have had him shoot a 3 for the W too.

But I'm certainly no savant like pm - God of Illinois state, uca, and chicago-loyola basketball. How bad were the teams that year he made the final 4. Dear lord

He’s got an iPad showing reruns of Bluey.
Hell they should show Bluey on the scoreboard. That would be more entertaining than the crap Loser puts out there.

We have our easiest four-game stretch coming up, yet I’ll be surprised if we even go .500. Can’t wait to see Culture Wall to get outcoached by Rodney Terry next week.

Sam’s most notable contribution on the night. Funny that he also missed the layup after committing the foul while going for a rebound after our lovely possession that ended with Miles throwing a prayer at the basket.

But hey, at least the mid major transfer guards he recruited to start for this team are good dudes and the chemistry is good. Who cares about talent??

I don’t know where to even start with all the stupid plays. I am trying to process it and just can’t come up with anything. I would really like to watch us practice to see what goes on there. One thing is for sure, we don’t practice anything related to toughness. I think Porter just points to the slogans he got from Majerus and thinks making signs and talking about toughness is good enough.

And who just stays with status quo and lets Phelps go off like that? I mean, leave another guy open from 3 but have a guy in his grill outside 3 and another ready to help stop his drive.

Bottom line, we are softer than a baby’s butt.

We can't even inbounds the ball LOL. pm should have a day of practice for inbounding the ball. Maybe have some oranges and grape slices afterward. Idiot

Logic is, Porter is not a good coach and continues to set the program back. Fire him as well as Joe C tonight. Joe C hasn’t made a good hire other than Bob. He deserves the blame for the state of athletics.
The losses for Castiglione are piling up. He absolutely should be held to account for the failures all throughout the football and bball programs. He is a dinosaur and is failing to adapt to the new environment. He got one thing right and that was bob stoops and there’s some that think he was overruled on that decision too. That was in 1998. Time for him to go.

Name the loses

I don’t remember ever thinking after a game the last 3 years, “wow we really outcoached them!”
Not a single one.. Hes dumb. Hes stealing millions. The one brightside is he likely won't be using us as a stepping stone after this season anymore to job security at some rinky dink school like depaul. He'll be in D2 or an assistant somewhere talking into his hands and designing culture walls. I hope we don't suffer yet another year, but he does not deserve a buyout.
