Hosted family this afternoon for dinner. Plenty of Dallas fans, so I was only able to check in here and there. Every time I looked, though, we were ahead.
What did we do well? Is Arizona a little down? Let's go win this thing tomorrow!

1. FT shooting almost perfect
2. Fears and Moore (we knew) are both athletic enough to make our offense much better than expected. Fears was really good today for a young freshman
3. D was pretty solid
4. Miles gave us a good boost as that other player
5. Luke did the same

Encouraged by Moore and Fears play. Northweather stepped up huge today. Hopefully getting Jadon Jones and Jeff Nwankwo back soon.

I don't know if we've ever had a combo guard like Fears as a true freshman. Not this advanced at this age. But also Miles and Moore and Elvis all have some juice as well. Taylor is a solid bench piece.

We outrebounded Arizona. That was probably key #1. When you play good defense, rebound, and shoot the ball well, there’s no mystery. That’s the game.

Has made big defensive plays in last 2 games. Against Providence he had an open court rip on a guard that led to a fast break for 2 points. Then he hit two 3s in a row.

Jones is supposedly back within a few weeks. I did hear Moser mention Nwankwo coming back before the season is over, but I’m assuming that’s a late conference play type thing

Really liked Northweather being physical on defense and on the boards. It is like he found the aggression dial and turned from 1 to 100
