I got the answer to that question when I saw him play a few weeks ago. Let's just say that Goff is no Harvey Grant or Taj Gray or any other big who actually had an impact at OU. My only question following the two games I watched was "What in the heck did Capel see in this guy?"

This news should not come as a surprise to anyone. Goff has been rumored to have academic issues for several weeks. Maybe that's why he was not motivated to play to the pre-season hype he received? He had to know early on that he was not getting the job done in class. Just sayin'...

He is still eligible although likely won't make it. We aren't going to take him either way. He is similar to many of Capel's other recruits regarding charachter and he isn't a productive player. Kruger won't have him on campus no matter what happens academically.

I am a bit confused about Goff. Is he saying he is coming or not? I read on this site (after this thread) that he was coming and it was confirmed by the staff on this site but I did not look at all the dates.

He says he's coming.

Reading between the lines of the reports on the subject, I don't think the staff wants him even if he does qualify, which seems iffy.

Yea....but who do we believe, james hale, or directly from the horses mouth in goff?

Goff says he is coming why wouldnt we believe him? Were exactly did Hale get his info....has he come out and said kruger or someone directly said he wasnt coming?
