Would of been nice if we could have landed this kid! Played really well for Houston yesterday. Looks the part. He's been a little up and down this season stats wise, but man he's a big athletic guard that goes hard.

Houston arena looks pretty neat. Sampson has his boy, Hollis and Quannas White all on staff. Why not eventually try to add a former great player to our staff??

Watched #2 ranked St. Edwards play at Newman Saturday. St Edwards is really really good. Has 3-4 legit bigs and that's kind of rare at D2 level. Two D1 transfer guards that are the real deal..one of them leads conference in scoring. I noticed Houston has a transfer guard from St Edwards that led the Heartland Conference in scoring at 23ppg. Don't understand why you would leave a big time D2 school, playing and scoring a ton to basically practice at Houston.
St Edwards may not of lost a game this year if this kid would of stayed though.

What former player would you like to add?

We get it, folks are happy with Kruger. See the other 13 posts. None of us want to be 3-8 in the conf.

Jarreau was a package deal with his teammate at the time they went to Mass. he sat out last year, so you want him or Bienemy? Ill take jamal for 4 years.

On your last point, some want to say hey Im a D1 player. I think Id choose to go d2 and be a star but each to their own.

There is a kid at Duke, I think Zion something or other. It seems like he probably would have been a good fit at OU. I can't believe we apparently didn't recruit him.

How did Newman look? That's where I graduated from..in the mid 80's. They've done a lot since I was there. Potter was a player when I was there...good guy. Not sure who the new coach is.

He was nice enough to let our HS team, Schlagle KCK, who usually played in the VC tournament, practice there the couple years I helped coach.

Give me Jarreau and Bienemy!! We were in the top 3-4 for this kid and his teammate that's why I brought him up fellas. I don't mind Kruger, just making a point about Houston. Would be cool to bring in one of those guys.

Potter is my father in law. RJ Allen is the head coach. Newman is tied for third in the conference(Last Year in it) First loss at home was to St. Eds. They play really hard, a bit undersized. Very fun, fast team to watch.

Kelvin is going to be tough as nails in Houston. The city is loaded with hoops talent and always has been. Kelvin does not have to go anywhere to recruit now. The makeover of the Arena is excellent and people do not realize Houston had 3 of the greatest players ever in the NBA.

Again, Jarreau was a package deal with his buddy from Louisiana.

Give me his 3 star buddy then.. That doesn't bother me at all. You could find a spot pretty easily for him as well.

What does this mean? Cool to bring in one of those guys....

May help with recruiting, fans may like this a bit more, rather than seeing Kruger and his son over there.. Maybe these guys are better assistants as well on top of being alumni.

oh yes that's right. I forgot.

I'm not sure he'll remember me...lol, but tell him Grant (the guy that used the gym for the KC Schlagle team a few years back) said hey.

I remember him playin in century II....lol

Where are they headed next year?

MIAA. Will do. Going to be an adjustment I think for Newman. Better competition. Facilities in that league are much better too compared to Newman.
