Interesting read on Hoiberg's "troubled" relationship with ISU

Interesting! Pollard sounds like Steve Patterson. Wonder if them spending all this money on football (multiple stadium expansions) the last few years???

If I were an ISU alum, I would not be happy about that. If I were a big donor, I might start an effort to force Pollard out.

WTF is the thinking behind administration families get to travel for free but basketball staff families have to pay their own way. That just isn't right.

Re: Interesting read on Hoiberg's "troubled" relationship with ISU

Whether you talk about colleges or the government, the administration prevails over the peons who do the work. In this competitive environment, it seldom pays to lowball coaches and those directly involved with the players and their families.

Not as bad as Patterson but this dude has no clear understanding of how to handle a big time athletic program within his athletic department. Men's basketball is essentially the only thing going right at that school. I don't think anything Hoiberg would have requested was out of line but you bend over backwards to accommodate your top program. Nickel and dime the other Olympic sports not your bread and butter.

Where doesn't this apply? It certainly does in all but the smallest of businesses, too.

OU has Lon Kruger and Joe Castiglione. Let that sink in and rest easy.
