Lon Kruger would be a solid hire. He's made the post season 17 of his 21 years as coach. He's done a great job turning around UNLV in his 7 years.

I lean more towards Buzz or Pastner, but wouldn't have any problems with Kruger. If true, it would be a solid hire IMO.

If it's Krueger I am happy he is a solid coach. I just don't know how long he'll be coaching.

Kruger would be a good rebuild hire. Bring him in for five years to build up the talent level and "clean up the program" and then hand the reigns over to a guy that can win championships.

That being said, Lon would be a great choice. It would be interesting to see what he can do with a bigger budget and more resources at OU after making UNLV very competitive lately.
