We still getting mentioned by him or did our chances go with Capel?

I think we still have a shot with Jeff Webster being his AAU coach!

Randle seems wide open, Sooners have to hope he wants to stay close to home.

Landing Randle would be amazing! I've got to think he is high priority for LK and staff, and the success the team has had so far surely has to help.

I normally HATE mix/highlight videos like that ... but this one is different.

His dominance here isn't demonstrated by a bunch of "look at me" plays - he actually just dominates the competition and the plays themselves scream out "look at this".

He is the goods.

Watching him play tonight, you can just see the potential oozing out of him. I saw a little bit of pouting when his team fell behind, but nothing to be alarmed about, I don't think. Jumper and free throw shot needs a little work (too flat), but he is a kid that would be GREAT to get.

He isn't talking about one and done is he? I really think he needs to stick around a few years, based on what I saw tonight.

And another question.....this may be a long shot, but how great would a class of Randle, Parker, and Woodard be, to follow up a class of Hield, Hornbeak, and Henry? Very nice.

Not gonna lie with that athletic ability and his powerful finishes at the rim, he reminds me of a mixture between BG and Dwight Howard. Some very lucky program will secure his services

It would be amazing if the Sooners got him. He is going to be a dominant college player.

last night also shows how bad the high school announcers are ...

they were talking about him playing the 3 in college ... that has 0.00% chance of happening ..

now in 3 or 4 years from now could he be a NBA 3 .. maybe but i doubt it ... he has a shot to be a stud power forward for the next 10 years ..

Heard that too, which was weird because Paul Biancardi was the coach at D1 Wright State for a good period...until he got fired.

Randle is an awesome talent. Getting his signature on a LOI would be the next best thing to signing another Blake Griffin. He's that good!

The announcers mentioned OU as one of the schools he was considering. I may not be able to sleep for weeks if LK can pull that one off.

I watched Blake play a lot in high school and his dribble drive ability was no where near where Randle's is right now...granted he didn't have to dribble much. I think Randle will have the same kind of impact on what ever school he decides to go to as Blake had on us.

The impact Randle could have at the next level is what I meant in comparing him to Blake. I didn't see enough of Julius, and only saw Blake play twice in high school, so I can't really say how their skills might compare at the same point in their career?

My personal opinion...Blake was a better raw athlete with the higher vertical and more physically imposing, Randle is more skilled.

Judging by what I know of Blake and saw of Randle last night, I agree with you.

They would be a couple of years after Hield and Hornbeak right?? Aren't they all sophs??

Reminds me some of Wayman Tisdale.

And he does have unusual quickness for a big man like Blake Griffin.

You are correct. Henry, Hornbeak and Hield are members of our 2012 class. Randle, Woodward and Parker (hopefully) would be in the 2013 class.

I would like to see OU sign Randle, Woodard, Parker and three jucos (probably two pf/C and a pg). Almost everyone on the team would be within 3 hours of home. OU would be loaded with talent.

Denver, Make it randle, woodard, parker and stevie clark and then 2 juco's
