last night also shows how bad the high school announcers are ...
they were talking about him playing the 3 in college ... that has 0.00% chance of happening ..
now in 3 or 4 years from now could he be a NBA 3 .. maybe but i doubt it ... he has a shot to be a stud power forward for the next 10 years ..
The impact Randle could have at the next level is what I meant in comparing him to Blake. I didn't see enough of Julius, and only saw Blake play twice in high school, so I can't really say how their skills might compare at the same point in their career?
My personal opinion...Blake was a better raw athlete with the higher vertical and more physically imposing, Randle is more skilled.
Watching him play tonight, you can just see the potential oozing out of him. I saw a little bit of pouting when his team fell behind, but nothing to be alarmed about, I don't think. Jumper and free throw shot needs a little work (too flat), but he is a kid that would be GREAT to get.
He isn't talking about one and done is he? I really think he needs to stick around a few years, based on what I saw tonight.
And another question.....this may be a long shot, but how great would a class of Randle, Parker, and Woodard be, to follow up a class of Hield, Hornbeak, and Henry? Very nice.
They would be a couple of years after Hield and Hornbeak right?? Aren't they all sophs??
