Just signed up for Norm's board. It is great.

Much to the chagrin of Syb and other excuse makers and sunshine pumpers, I will not be leaving this board, however.

My mission is now to drive them even more crazy until they have seizures.

I think it will take the program to fall to the level of John Blake coach team before some on here will see that change needs to take place. Wouldn't surprise me to see it at that level in the next few years.

Personally, I hope Sherri looks at Bob and Gasso. Her only real contemporaries on campus and career wise.
Gasso is recruiting like crazy. Has turned over her staff. Made adjustments.
Bob knew he was done. And didn't hang on and went out pretty much on top.
Leave on a high note.

Choose a path and go 100% all out.
Recommit 100% to making changes in recruiting and getting the talent to win Big 12 titles again. And then leave on a high note like Bob.
Don't let things slide further to where Joe C has to have the conversation.

I totally agree, Atlanta. I would hate to have Sherri be on the receiving end of the talk after all she has done here. Bob knew it was time to pack it in and he did so on on his own terms. He had some bad years, but he came back and goes out on top. He was likely going to have a great year next year. He was thoughtful enough not to leave the next head coach a mess like the one he inherited. That's why, even if you're been upset with the Sooners and Stoops sometimes over the last 18 years, you knew he was going to figure it out and do the right thing.

I am just not sure Sherri is capable of that -- not that she doesn't know what the right thing is. I hope she is, because when we were good, we were really good.
