This was already discussed and shown to be just another in the long line of interpretations by democrats who always have to look at things as if the worst is occurring. So many dainty hands. So many. If you guys always have to be right might I suggest you talk to yourselves when alone. That should please you.

LOL. His responsibility? He’s not responsible for any deaths. Cuomo? Yes.

Trying to blame trump for everything is a disease of laziness and ignorance.

"The buck stops here!"...........?

Who's supposed to be running the show??? We had people in the different departments of the government that were telling trump what was going to happen.......he ignored them all, until the horses were out of the barn.

That's why we lead the world in covid19 deaths. The United States of America leads the world in deaths from an infectious disease! Let that soak in.....:o

We had the same opportunities to take precautions as every other nation...but why did we have the results we have now. Why did other nations have substantially better outcomes? Why are other nations thinking of banning our tourists?

I'm sure you have rational reasons we're leading the world in deaths from covid 19........

And why are you changing the topic? I thought you were talking about being pissed that the Feds were ending their help on a few testing sites.

Is 3 months not sufficient for a state to get their act in order?
I'm guessing your preference would be for the Feds to run every testing site in the country?
 
Another reason that we could be higher than some in per capita deaths is our nursing home system. I don't have the time to look into it but a large chunk of the US deaths are from nursing homes. Do other countries have nursing homes like we do? Or do they still have aging parents live with children? Another factor is median age of the population, or population density.

I know you really want to blame Trump for all of our countries problems but there are legitimate reasons for our death rate that warrant examination if you are truly curious

Maybe because trump promised that there would be free testing when this all began....and it ain't over. Because testing is the only rational way to fight the disease.....if you don't test, you can't find the people that are spreading the disease and track them down for quarantine.

Do you think Oklahoma should have had people trying to figure out our response to the disease??? What good does it do for one state to plan a response when every other state does nothing??? The response had and has to be coordinated or you get stupid results.

trump has given up on this because he failed....he wants to move on to something else that isn't such a super clusterfu&k.

By the way, China and India have bigger populations than we do.....

This is an example of what happens when you put people that don't believe in government in charge of the government.

Has trump said there wouldn't be free testing?
Yes, I do believe Oklahoma should be responsible for fighting the disease with help from the feds and guidance when needed

The death rate in England is 50% higher. Explain how we would be better off if our mortality rate was 50% higher.

You know that’s a really bad example right? Boris Johnson ignored the virus for weeks, shooting for herd immunity. He only relented once it was obvious that the hospitals and ICUs were overwhelmed and the bodies were piling up. The people there took to calling him Virus Johnson. He’s one of the few morons to do a worse job then Trump, but at least he finally had the wherewithal to reverse course.

Yep.... it was their public position in the beginning to do the herd thing, and it cost a lot of lives.

Since the population base of countries are usually different from one another it was pointed out that if we lead the world from a mortality rate perspective then things would be much worse for the innocent citizens of this country, and it is a valid point, for if our rate mirrored England's there would much more pain, suffering and grieving to be shared by all. If population size does not matter, which he pointed out its relevance in a post of his, then the point is not valid.

Per capita, only 10 countries have a worse mortality rate than the United States. Last week we were 12th. Moving in the wrong direction. 5 of those countries are on the Arabian peninsula.
