Fauci, if I am not mistaken, admitted that he lied about the masks so that there would be enough masks for medical professionals, first responders, etc. He didn't want them completely gone like toilet paper, hand sanitizer, etc at the time.

I heard it directly from him on NPR, that he knowingly lied about that to protect the supply.

Easy to say after the fact.

But the quotes I’ve posted in this thread several times don’t read like lies. They read like he was wrong

And I highly doubt fauci was lying. That would really be leading people into a false sense of safety that would really spread the virus.

I went and looked at the "larger" countries in teh EU vs the US in terms of deaths/million. below are the results...I can add the smaller countries if needed but I was lazy and didn't find it needed.

Very few.

A lot of people think it is purposely overblown and scare tactics are used to suppress the economy to make trump look bad

And I think it would be naive to not believe this to an extent

Bad part is the loudest people are on the 2 extremes:
1) if you leave your house you will either die or kill someone.
2) this is a hoax, the world did this to hurt Trump, all deaths are from something else.

There are very few medium news reporters and even fewer stations that get airtime & their voice heard. That’s why I prefer to read different outlets than to watch the news.

I don't think that is true. I think most of those people want radical changes to the way police operate, to the point where it gives "criminals" more leeway, and makes it harder on the officers to do their job while staying safe.

All because there are about 15-20 shootings of unarmed black people a year in this country, only of which maybe half are even up for debate as bad shoots.

Shootings and murder are the ultimate price, but its far from the only issue. Targeting of blacks, harassment of blacks, mass incarceration, longer jail sentences, cash bail which leads to innocent poor people being locked up in some cases, etc are the other issues you are trying to boil down into strictly murder.

It's not just about murder... there is systemic prejudice against blacks in the legal system. I can't even believe we have people denying that at this point in time.

The left finds it necessary to label people as being racist or homophobic or misogynist, etc so as to attract as many voters/supporters as possible and it grows old and tiring because they are the very things they call people out for. It's lovely how they feel it's cool to play people this way.
