Self medicating is the smoking gun here. And taking 2 grams of any one of countless pharmaceuticals can easily kill you....the list is long.

Nice little scenario you made up there to make yourself mad. Much nicer than a couple of trusting elderly people entrusting their lives to his faux "expertise" and dying for it.

disingenuous and flat-out wrong? probable cause for a negligence claim is there if someone wanted to make it so it's certainly not the first. flat-out wrong? depends on the standard and claim. why dont you go back and listen to him try to declare his expert "feelings" as relevant items for consideration. it's about time he has to answer up about all these "people say" people he always cites for credibility. he's negligent and a piece of trash to boot.

It was an opinion and nothing else. The FDA is testing the product and they are not the only entities. And lastly, Coolm, hate is not a solution. If you believe answers and solutions have a place in our lives then what is their origin? A foundation built upon reality or one built upon delusion? The choice should be a simple one.

Some people have their heads so far up their politics that it skews their reality. And there are plenty on both sides that have the affliction....although one side seems to be more vocal.

Like I said in an earlier thread, I try not to let whoever is occupying the White House have an effect on me or my life. I have a preference, but in the grand scheme of things, I'm in control of my life for the most part and I'm certainly in control of how I react to things (good or bad).

The battle against COVID-19 shouldn't be political, but unfortunately certain people (media, special interest, etc.) force politics into virtually aspect of life. I get sick of it.

I am sick of it too and I think some people, whomever they may be, are just not happy campers and they lash out at things in response to their lives just not being what they had envisioned it to be. Sad. They likely are most responsible for their lot in life and yet others suffer for it.

I've been softening my stance over the past week. We've had a lot of people be discharged home without COVID testing because they were such low-risk, only to return a few days later and get intubated. NYC appears to be the epicenter of some nasty stuff, and it's been steadily spreading from there. I still haven't seen any young, healthy people drop dead, but we're already starting to run low on vents. Not all of that is COVID, but unfortunately people haven't stopped ODing. As has been noted in this thread, we will have some very difficult decisions coming.
