Wrong. You are better than this, but something is apparently amiss. I hope you can remedy it.

I don't trust random YouTube videos, if you have a better source I will look at it. Why is that so hard to understand?

you guys spend way too much time arguing over bias vice methodology. we're not talking about putting down the family dog here. there are at least thousands of lives at stake. and if you think having a strong economy outweighs their lives then you belong in a cage.

The restructured stimulus package is expected to be finished & agreed upon by the end of the day.

Not going to happen. Schumer admitted yesterday that progress was being made in a bi-partisan fashion within the Senate...and I was optimistic. Then Pelosi reveals her demands in her own bill:
-Publication of corporate pay statistics by race and race statistics for all corporate boards
-A bail out on all current debt at the Postal Service
-Required early voting
-Required same day voter registration
-Provisions on official time for union collective bargaining
-Full offset of airline emissions by 2025
-Publication and reporting of greenhouse gas statistics for individual flights
-Retirement plans for community newspaper employees
-Federal $15 minimum wage
-Permanent paid leave
-Study on climate change mitigation efforts

Is there any wonder why Congress has an absolutely awful public opinion rating? Now is not the time for politics.

I couldn't agree more. The Federalist has a column out now questioning whether or not we should allow hundreds of thousands (yes, he wrote hundreds of thousands) to die so the economy doesn't tank further. It's insanity.

Is that stuff really in there? This isn't the bill for all that stuff.

Where did you find this list? Do you have a copy of the bill, I couldn't find all that stuff.

I agree there was a bunch of BS in there. That said I still don't agree to running money top down like that. it never works. I'd follow that muslim reps plan to make moneycard accounts for everyone, make them apply for it, and it be a flat amount per person with a bonus for dependents. but not for businesses. they need to modify.

I attempted to copy and paste in PDF. But it wasn't working. Below is a link which details these items. You can download it yourself....sorry guys.

Ha, there is a lot of crap in the bill, I won't defend it, but here is what I think is going on. They know that they have to negotiate with the GOP to get this passed, so they put stuff in the bill that they can remove as concessions. Everybody negotiates this way if they are smart, ask for more than you want.

I do the same thing when I negotiate here at work. Let's say I need 1 FTE. I will always ask for 2 or 3 and then when they turn me down I ask for 1 and I get what I want.

Don't worry guys, I am 99% sure that stuff won't be in the final bill that is passed.

I read the article, WHO doesn't normally recommend travel restrictions. I don't even remember what point you were trying to make but this was in the article.

“Although travel restrictions may intuitively seem like the right thing to do, this is not something that WHO usually recommends,” said Tarik Jašarević, a WHO spokesperson. “This is because of the social disruption they cause and the intensive use of resources required,” he added.

You also said that the WHO said this isn't passed person-to person? Do you have a source for that claim? It wasn't in the article.

I tend to agree Steve....but as another day passes, people are hurting and that is my main issue with congress. Just get the damn thing approved without the bs.

I worked for Baylor Health Care system for several years here in DFW. Whenever I occasionally lost an FTE....I was told "you will get nothing back and like it!". So at least you have that going for you.:D

If Pelosi really made these demands then she is cutting her own throat.

Oh I know, it's dragging on, but I think this is how they believe they will get the most bang for the buck.

Oh I don't always get the FTEs I need, lol. We've been under a hiring freeze, this national emergency might change that. They're asking for retired providers to come back and work until this is over.

You stated that we should have listened to the experts back in January.

I asked if the WHO qualifies as such (experts that is).

You believed they did.

I pointed out their position on certain matters.

Regardless of what execution was done following the travel bans the WHO believed they were not warranted in the first place.

That is all.

You know I specified that he should have listened to *our* experts and the intelligence community, right?

It doesn't matter, this is a time-consuming argument about nothing lol

By the way, just heard that Tulsa's confirmed cases are up to 11. Just yesterday it was 5. One guy that we tested up there was positive, he was from out of town, staying in a hotel and eating in restaurants every day, ugh.
