MBB TPT2 TRANSFER PORTAL THREAD 2

I don't understand why we haven't heard anything about Ven-Allen Lubin from ND. Figured Humphrey would be all over him.

These endorsements are pretty widely known so they’re not making it up. Dunne has deals with Under Armor, AE, and several others.

Those aren't LSU-direct NIL's. That is what I came here to post. And honestly, that is the true spirit of NIL, not some booster handing out cash.

You may want to check the thread posted two nights ago asking for predictions on the remaining two scholarships. There were multiple predictions that we would land him. That, plus the frequent chatter last week that he and his brother wanted to end up at the same place, plus the talk that KU was out, certainly provided reasons for people following the board to think we had a very real chance. And if the coaching staff flew out to make an in-home, it sur seems like they thought the same way.

I think the staff going out to meet him was more about TRYING to get in on him than actually thinking they had him. They didn't even have a seat t the table before that.

Why? North Dallas kid. Played some college ball in Texas, in the Big 12. We have a glaring hole at the 4. His brother had a chance to come to OU if they really wanted to play together.

Why, with all of that, did we not even have a seat? For Cal?

I wouldn’t say “nothing” since NILSU connects LSU athletes with potential sponsors, but I get your point. These aren’t boosters just paying athletes.

"NILSU" is just the headline .. talking about lsu athletes and NIL

Keshad Johnson did not get an invite to the combine

Not every kid falls over themselves for a chance to play at OU.

If I counted right, 12 SEC players and 8 Big 12. Obviously SEC has more teams. The Big 12 is clearly the best league, but those of you who think the conference change is going to be a huge help are mistaken. The talent in the SEC is very good. We still need to dramatically improve our athleticism.

RayJ Dennis (Toledo) and Daimion Collins (Kentucky) are both visiting K-State this weekend.

RayJ is really good and of course, everyone knows about Collins.

Illinois and Indiana are also working to get Dennis, but if he ends up in Manhattan, it definitely won’t be a surprise. Tang identified a couple positions that he has targeted in the portal, and with the success they had last season and the style they play, plus his personality, it’s easy to see why so many players would be interested in KSU.
