Understood, but to find any information about players, you've got to dig through pages of arguments over NIL, portal, grad transfer, etc. I just don't want to wade through the streams of today's pissing match to see which players have declared, committed, etc.

Agreed ... the irony is that I got called a complainer by someone who's probably post two dozen times in this thread, and I've probably posted 6 or 8 times total -- all but three about player specific discussion.

even when something good happens it's followed up with "Buuuuuuttttttt..........."

I think we should take KU castaways. Set up that pipeline. I would have taken Clemence and Udeh in a heartbeat
 
It isn't surprising it's quiet on the OU front. We've filled 4 of 6 spots, right? It would have been silly to fill all six slots prior to the transfer portal entry closing, so our pace is seemingly appropriate. We just need a quality four to close out a great offseason, and there are several options remaining, so I'm waiting to complain until there is something to complain about.

I’d happily take a couple of them but the ones who would really help us are likely being recruited by a lot of top programs. Not sure we will be able to win that kind of battle.

Yea, he isn’t one I would have been enthused about. If you take away the two good games he played against us, he has done absolutely nothing. I don’t think he would even be an upgrade on Jacob.

Bam was a bust, but I don't think many expected him to be a star. I think average 6th or 7th man in conference was my expectation, which he obviously fell way short of. My hopes for him were comparable to what I have for Darthard and Soares.

I didn't realize you were counting Uzan and Oweh in this. I was very excited for them, but my expectations for them this upcoming year are far higher. If you're counting them, it's not really fair to grade our past offseason yet.

I thought he’d beat out Groves on the wing.

That’s fair. I was actually pretty happy with how the freshmen played. My biggest disappointment was the lack of improvement shown from returning players.
 
Are we still in on the San Diego state guy? I think he'd be a huge 'get' for us if we sealed the deal. I've chatted with a few peeps that follow OU mbb more than I do and they're all saying this season we should have a markedly more athletic team, and that shouldn't be a problem of ours like it was last season. If everyone we have can stay healthy it could be interesting. I hope we do bring in a good '4' guy, if still possible??

Regardless, I believe a miserable third season by PM may be his last one in Norman. It will be as far as I'm concerned, which may be harsh, but it is what it is. Should he be given 4 seasons??
