How tall is he? Doesn't look overly athletic, but might be able to get by with smarts/toughness. Or maybe the video is just terrible at showing his true athleticism.

Seeing that, I'd take him, but I'd say his ceiling is that of a good solid backup post guy. Or starter on a bad team. He could prove me wrong, not suggesting that would be impossible, but that is what I see when I watch that video. And it's though to gauge toughness and intensity from a highlight video.

Be another good get for OSU. That will be tough for LK (or anyone else) to overcome.

We rarely agree but we do here. I don't see much outta this dude. Looks really weak downlow. Playing against kids in d1 ball his soft downlow shots will be swatted. Showed good touch from 3 and good form. But for some reason you never see misses on a highlight tape.. I'd rather have a guard that can stroke from 3 then a slower big outside with a soft post game

They didn't show him playing any defense. I thought he looked fine on offense. I'm not sure what else could could have done. Lots of pick and rolls. His outside shot was good so he would pull defenders away from the bucket. Any D1 program would get him a lot stronger.

I have coached against him the last three years.

It is crazy how much more skilled and how much he has grown since then. He was probably 6'3 as a soph or frosh. Maybe a little taller. He is probably 6'8 without shoes but I haven't seen him in a month. We had an 8th grader that is 6'6.5 with shoes on and he looked to be 2 inches taller than him.

I also believe he is young for his grade. His skills have really improved in two years and I believe sam tweeted he had him at 13-25 on threes. That with his size has coaches looking at him.

He isn't going to wow you with his athleticism and his lower body will take time to develop and catch his vertical growth. However there is a lot of upside to him.

Solomon reminds me of a young Kevin McHale; a tall kid with skills who will not wow you with his athleticism. I really like his court smarts. He makes up for his lack of foot speed and hops by getting good position on put backs and using his size and toughness to finish plays.

If he picks OU, I will be one happy fan. This kid knows how to play, and he will only get better down the road a ways.
