Re: >>>>>Oklahoma [14-4, 4-3] vs. Kansas [16-3, 6-1] Thread<<<<<
I just don't understand this sentiment. Win or lose, there are always things that we can improve upon. But for some odd reason, pointing these items out in a game (especially in a game we won) really seems to get under peoples skin. Unlike some, I don't view this as negative or lamenting. I don't see any reason why you can't enjoy the win, but also conclude that there are still areas where we need to get better (while also acknowledging where we are getting better)......these two items aren't mutually exclusive.
See Nick Saban.
In the course of a game you will always find multiple opportunities when we failed to make the shot but for the game. It is called basketball and there are quality players on the Kansas team.
But we shot 49% (48% season) from the field, 39% (40% season) BTA and 80% (74% season) from the line. I'll take that every night and get a bunch of W's. Also we shot 56% (46% season) from the 2 for the game that too is very good. Relish the win don't lament our failure to be perfect.
