nice first half for OU. they played their defense exactly as Lon coached them. nice job harassing the lanes and really some good boards.

best half theyve had so far this season. easily.

actually took a charge under bucket..(well not tech UNDER) but on a lay-up..

seems like they are just playing street ball (with their athletes)..OU is actually running an offense

SC is running some sets and actually getting open shots. The problem is they also have guys who just decide willy nilly to take their guy off the dribble without clearing out for them and they get some terrible spacing. OU should be horribly outrebounded right now but for good Sooner individual effort and bad play by SC.

I hope there was a scoring error somewhere that I didn't catch.

Great first half....hitting the threes helps. Some good defense...some terrible defense. Need to know where Elijah Stewart is on the floor at all times.

Glad you said that. I thought so but then I guessed it was an and-1 when I saw the score. I thought he had missed the shot on the foul. Hard to tell because they kept showing people in the stands instead of the game

Winning the turnover battle 4-12 and from 3 9-5 so it feels like we should be up by more than 12. But that's being nit-picky.

Tree Young is still incredible. James and Manek have been great on offense. McNeace has looked very timid on that end. Lattin has been great on defense. Finish it boys!

really? NICE!

For Lon's style you need many possessions and few turnovers.

I actually like this style of ball. It has problems with the shots traveling, but it's fun. Exciting. Energetic.

I think it's time to stop railing on their defense all the time. They are not a "bear down" type of defense. Their defense is more about position right now and disrupting the lanes instead of playing tight on the ball. Have a hand in the shooters face and close out on the arc. Their focus is much more on the other end of the court. They want to get their shots quickly in their spots.
