*****Oklahoma vs. Missouri Game Thread*****

Missouri guy just took out his their own player.

How that's not a foul on Denmon I will never know. He slid right into Blair as he went up for the shot.

Cam Clark with a nice move and an easy 2. 43-35

They miss a 3

Fitz with a nice jump hook back to a 6 point game.

We gave up a 3. 46-37

Miss 2 looks at it.

Foul on a shot against OU. Media timeout, free throws for missouri after the timeout.

Once again Blair gets in the lane, gets body checked which forces him to kick it out. Next play we get the weakest freaking hand check of all time.

Blair not a D-1 level PG in my opinion. How you can, when playing a team that makes its living by slapping at balls and stealing the ball with pressure, hold the ball right out in front of you casually makes no sense. I'm sure Capel and the staff have hammered them on it and yet the first possession he comes out and plays lazy. Go recruit someone who will pay attention.

I agree with you about bringing in someone to handle the point. Capel does, too, or he would not be hitting the recruiting trail hard, trying to sign guys like Guererro, Carter and others.

Carl has some legitimate skills, though. His passing, court vision and his ability to drive the lane are not that far from a quality D-1 level. His major weaknesses are his defense and his handles. Since he has two more years to play after this season, I believe the jury is still out as to whether he coiuld be a good PG in time.

Carl's turnovers suck, but I love the way he drives into the lane and the defense collapses around him and he kicks it out to a usually wide open Sooner. He can also finish pretty well when he chooses. :blair:

Again playing hard but like last week once the opponent builds a 8-12 point lead OU just cannot get over the hump on the road against a good team.
