I've found this season to be very disappointing, as I've never bought the rebuilding narrative, and have always felt this team has the talent to be a Sweet 16 contender. Miraculously, if we win this last 2 games, I'll withdraw my criticisms of Lon for this regular season. Getting throttled by teams like ISU and OSU isn't acceptable, but competing on a nightly basis with teams like WVU and TTU is exactly where I had this team pegged. What an inspiring week. I had all but checked out after that massacre in Stillwater.

Not if we lose the final two and then go one and done in KC. We aren’t getting in at 18-14. If you don’t think we’re capable of losing out, don’t forget that this team has lost to Iowa State, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State this season. Plus, we aren’t playing patsies. Texas is playing their best ball of the season and TCU just beat Baylor.

Great win on the road. Played tough, hit crucial shots/FTs and didn't turn the ball over much.

I was one of the main posters who deemed Texas "dead" several weeks back. So much for their demise, we will need to play lights out Tuesday to beat them right now.

A side note, whoever plays WV in the first round of the NCAA tournament....I will be picking them in my bracket. This WV team is a trainwreck on offense.
