Osu -1

I don't know why any post player would choose to go to OSU. He didn't play Pilgrim and Moses together. Who knows if they will play together this upcoming season.

Guesses on who else leaves???Most likely its between Shaw and Dowell...

I say Shaw is gone...

Torin Walker, who played sparingly as a freshman this past season, has requested and been granted his release from the Oklahoma State basketball team, an OSU official confirmed Friday.

You could probably ask Ray Willis

Maybe Travis doesn't like tall guys. I wonder why? :D

After this past season I'd have to think that Dowell is the other guy out.

Moses and Pilgrim didn't play together because Obi gave us a better matchup on the offensive end. Not to mention the fact that both of those guys getting into foul trouble in the first half would have been disaster.

With D. Williams coming in we might see them on the court together. Not to mention that Shaw was beginning to get it.

Agreed 100% Dig.

People who keep saying that Ford didn't play Moses and Pilgrim at the same time because "they didn't play well together" weren't paying attention.

The problem was that scenario was who would you sit?

The most obvious move would have been to sit Gulley and have Page play the point. But then you take away the whole point of having Page on the floor, as he was much more effective running off screens for open 3-pointers.

So if you remove Page and have Gulley run the point you're also removing one of your three shooters from the floor and further exposing Gulley's inability to shoot.

Obviously you weren't going to remove Anderson or Obi.

Our personnel last year just didn't fit playing Moses and Pilgrim at the same time... at least on an extensive basis.

I think the main problem was having no front court depth outside Pilgrim/Moses. With both of them being major foul magnets, if you start both and they both draw a couple of quick fouls you find yourself with Shaw and Franklin getting 20 minutes a game.

But if you alternate them, you can get better minutes out of the both of them.

You seem to be omitting Ray Penn.
Keiton Page is not a point guard.

I would switch Marshall and Darrell Williams. But either way I feel good about this lineup.

What happened to Roger Franklin? I thought he was supposed to be good. OU wanted him. He had that magical 4th Star. Why isn't he on anybody's depth chart?

I think that there are issues with his size/skill set ratio right now. I expect him to improve.
