Brad Underwood from SFA. I believe news to break at 8:15. From a really good source.

Not sure if going after a mid major guy is a way to go for them after Ford being a failure. But this is a better hire than Ford.

Like I said in a different post. One win in 3 years against power 5 conference teams. Holder won't survive this if he doesn't have immediate success.

I don't know how Underwood will do, but I think oswho has some pretty good talent on campus for him to get started with. If they avoid the injury bug next season, they'll be much better than this year.

An outstanding coach and hire. If he can recruit players to Stillwater, he'll have a lot of success.

The Big 12 just got a lot better today by adding Underwood and Jamie Dixon.

Well, they just got a major upgrade at the coaching position.

Absolute best case scenario for OSU... he will get them back to their winning ways, and in a hurry too. They have talent and now a great coach.

Forte and Evans form a VERY dangerous guard combo.
Shine/Carroll are on the wings.

They need post players, will see what they do in recruiting.

Either way, this is a home-run for OSU.

I'm not sure he's earned the adjective 'great' yet, but he appears to be an upgrade.

He has the stern down. But will he tell during free throws and fall over backwards in disgust?

Solid hire and an obvious upgrade. However I completely disagree about their roster. Except for Evans and Forte, Ford did him no favors...

I think he is a fine coach and OSU will be noticeably better starting next year. However, I think it is fair to say that, night in and night out, having to coach against the likes of Self, Kruger, Tubby, Huggins, Smart, etc will be a rude awakening for any new incoming coach. There are no Texas States, Sam Houston States, Lamars, or Abilene Christians in this league. You better have a great game plan and/or better basketball players every time you step onto the court or you will be a perennial doormat in this conference.

He did get the best of Huggins in this year's tournament, but I would venture to say that result is an exception rather than the rule.....at least in the short term.

One win in 3 years against a power five conference team and you are calling him a great coach:ez-roll:

Disagree. He returns almost everyone. You can't judge what they have off of how they produced under Ford.
