Bob Stevens 26-44(37.1%) and fired after 5 seasons. You have to go all the way back to 67 to find a coach with a losing record in conference after 5 seasons.

Doyle Parrack 1956-1960 27-37(42.2%) He went on to coach 2 more mediocre years.

That's all the coaches in the Big 6/7/8 era on.

What would you blame it on? Recruiting? Guess what, that's part of coaching.

Or, would you rather blame it on the fans?

To say the coach is not ultimately responsible for turning a top 20 program into a top 200 program is ludicrous and ill Informed.

What exactly do we really run on offense or defense? What have we ran on offense or defense? What have we been good at offensively under Capel? What about defense under Capel? What is that something you can hang your hat on for Capel coached teams? If talent is our problem then I thought Capel was the greatest recruiter of all time. Where is this amazing recruiter?

We don't play any defense is a reason we are bad. That's coaching.

Capel can't recruit. That's coaching.

We have lazy undisciplined players. That's coaching.
