We lost by double digits again.

The only reason we scored 70 is because KU was scoring every 3 seconds with a layup drill. More possessions equals more points. That has nothing to do with Capel.

recruiting and bad apples in the program.
recruiting does not equal coaching.
Coaching is coaching.
Recruiting is a part of being a coach.
surely you can see the difference.
To say the coach is not ultimately responsible for turning a top 20 program into a top 200 program is ludicrous and ill Informed.

calling OU a top 200 program now is ill informed. a couple bad seasons doesn't change the history and tradition of the program

If Kelvin scored 70 points we would complain about it. That was his average score over 12 seasons. Capel scoring 70 points is an amazing performance. Our high standard has suddenly become average at best.

i love sampson and would take him back in a heart beat. loved him. hated to see him go.

I just don't see ANY coach doing much with this team

Sensible post. I take back any slams in my previous post.

Question...who would you blame for "this team"? Capel recruited the players that left and he recruited them knowing they were only in Norman for 1 year, maybe 2. He also recruited Willis, cannon, Allen, neysmith,hard rick, etc.

You said something of the sort last year. Maybe you started attending games when griffin was there but I remember a similar comment.
