Looked like Hield was trying too hard the first half.... Need to shoot and hit a few 3's. Pretty sloppy! Defense was really good until the last 6-7 minutes.

Agreed. Truth is, OU is turning down open shots from the perimeter in an attempt to penetrate inside. I'm sure that was part of the game plan. But seems to me our players are doing it a little too much.

Because we're playing mostly good Defense and played very good for 16 minutes.

I'm sure Kruger has his reasons. But, it is pretty hard to maintain consistently good play when rotating in so many players.

Fortunately our D is playing well. No scoring to speak of, but George Mason isn't really closing the gap.
