OU vs WVU 1pm CST on ESPNU

Yes but if he hadn't been trying to show off and dribble behind his back at half-court the ball would have never gone out of bounds. It fits the narrative just fine. He tries too hard to be spectacular and it hurts the team.

Dribbling behind your back is not “showboating”

Dribbling behind your back isn't (always) showboating, but it's not optimal at times. In the earlier AR instance, it was totally unnecessary.

Lol, it is when you do it in traffic at half-court. Are you his agent? Why can't you just admit he made a bad play? Do you think Lon Kruger congratulated him for doing that?

Bad call but not a good play on Reaves’ part either. No need for it there and not done well which triggered a bad call by ref who doesn’t seem to like Reaves in the first place.

I noticed after the first offensive foul call (which I though was bad) that the ref (DeRosa?) stared down Reaves. Reaves got fouled first IMO but he needs to play smart.

Whether it was showboating or not doesn’t change the fact the officials missed the call. It was out of bounds off the WVU player’s foot.

You are correct but why bring the refs into it? If a player in football is running free down the middle of the field, with ball in hand, then why head towards the sidelines and tip toe down the field?

Really really awful effort from Doo to start the half on the defensive boards.

Welcome to the game AR!

Just keeping winning.

You guys arguing makes me tired.

Playing pretty well overall, but nobody on our team has ever blocked anybody out.

No surprise that Huggy is pounding it into Oscar and Culver. Hope we can get at least one in foul trouble

When you lack control it is.

He didn't lack control. I went back and watched the play multiple times. The WVU player was sprinting to get in front of and cut off Reaves. Reaves took one dribble toward the sideline and then behind his back to get to the middle of the court, which was an open area. It was an easy play that I'm sure he makes 99% of the time. As Boulder alluded to, that is normal dribbling in today's game.

Manek played good D on Culver then a nice job getting the charge

You're right, it was an amazing play, I hope he does it every time.
