Funny story, one of the morning guys on the Fan 1060 here in Phoenix is an Illinois grad and was preaching this morning to Weber what a great job OU was, for him to please take it, that any sane person would take that job.

He obviously wants him gone from the Illini.

studurando Weber says in statement "I remain committed to the University of Illinois" but lacks wording that would assure he'll be around next season

studurando Weber repeats that he has received "interest calls" about other jobs "but nothing beyond that."

Weber also calls Illinois one of the country's elite jobs and says he is "excited about the opportunities that lie ahead for our program."
