Shepard's scheduling prowess allowed our 2018 and 2019 teams to coast into the Tournament despite conference records of 8-10 and 7-11. He cracked the quadrant code long before anyone else. He always did the dirty work. If he pushed his weight around, I doubt it was done without authorization from the higher pay grades.I’m not a Shepherd fan! I remember what a jerk he was in throwing his weight around with Garyeb2 to put an end to our practice reports. He would be the last assistant on my list I would want to keep from the current staff.
1. Likely bring one from LC.
2. Does Hollis or quanas want to come be here. (I’d like ou to overpay and make them)
3. Best recruiter from the state of Texas.
4. Shepard stay as DOBO?

I’d take a guy who could actually land the top players on Team Griffin
Does that person exist? Taylor Griffin?
Not a bad idea. Taylor is the COO of Blake Griffin Enterprises. He’s also President and Program Director of Team Griffin. Hire him as a consultant so he doesn’t have to give up his day jobs.
Blake Griffin Enterprises? The first thing that came to mind were the Seinfeld episodes with Kramer running a business called Kramerica.

Could be Kellen McCoy. But he’s already failed that connection several
Times.

Definitely someone to watch for an assistant spot.
Greg Lansing
Loyola Assistant
Kellen McCoy
Those 3 would make sense. You have a former coach who Moser loves, a former assistant to help the others on the staff understand how Moser operates, and then a former player who coaches in OK, that has Texas connections.
I don't know a lot about McCoy, so help me connect the dots.
I don't remember him being a former player, just a GA, right?
What are his Texas connections? He's from Oklahoma. Played college ball in Oklahoma and Utah. Played a little foreign pro ball. Coached college ball in Utah for a year. And has coached Oklahoma HS ball for the last 7 years.
I'd prefer somebody with a little more "bite" than that, unless there is something about him that I'm missing.
