Pretty much always 61st and Yale, give or take a few miles any way.
McGills. Mmmmm.....
I work near one of the other McGills locations.

Are there any Chili's in NYC? I think there is one in JFK, but have never seen one

There is a Chili's and OTB on Knox/Henderson in Uptown...those restaurants were able to negotiate a longer term lease before the upturn and will most likely close when it expires. In addition, have never met anyone in my 6 years of living in Dallas who has eaten there...generally tourists from outside Dallas or Oklahoma.
Tulsa got George Strait because OKC had to schedule around this thing called the NBA playoffs. They knew the weekend George wanted to be in Oklahoma that it would be the opening weekend of the NBA playoffs and OKC assumed correctly that they would be hosting a game on Saturday or Sunday. I have no real dog in the fight but if you are going to use the George Strait Concert as concrete evidence, you have to have the proper perspective.
McGills is the one exception I've had. I'd go back there every time. Oh, and the sushi place on the hill. That's pretty good, too.
Oh - and speaking of things that can't be duplicated...
WT has mentioned the Gathering Place, but I think it's actually being under-sold in this thread.
The Gathering Place isn't just some "nice park."
It's going to be a transformational world-class urban park that is designed by one of the preeminent urban architecture firms in the world.
Tulsa got George Strait because the BOK Center is one of the most profitable, successful multi-event areas in the United States.
It's the same reason that we got Paul McCartney twice and practically every other A-list arena tour since the place opened.

You are probably right. I wanted to push it harder, but technically, it isn't built yet, so I backed off. But from what I've seen, it is going to be an amazing place once finished.
I don't get the need to have one better than the other.
i looked at the renderings...looks great. I think OKC is doing something similar on a bigger scale. I think I heard it will be equivalent in size to Central Park in NYC.
The nicer tulsa is the better it is for the state. I don't get the need to have one better than the other.
A bigger scale than the Gathering Place?
That would be pretty big. Phase I of The Gathering Place is $300 million, and the park will span ~6 city blocks, from around 31st to 26th.
A city park in OKC the size of Central Park? That would be enormous.... where are they planning to put it?
