West Virginia a 3-seed

And will get to the elite 8 and will give North Carolina all they can handle. The Heels better be ready or it could be 3 Big 12 teams in the final 4.

I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to SFA in the opening round.

SFA only had 3 top 100 wins....and all of them came against the same team (A*M Corpus Christi - 87). Regarding Kenpom, their best win was against the #155 ranked team. And Baylor beat SFA by 42 points in the non-conference.

SFA isn't beating West Virginia.

Depends on the refs

SFA plays same style, so tightly called game will hurt them as well.

If you're looking for a 3/14 upset, I would probably look at Fresno over Utah....but I don't see it happening.

Not particularly looking for one, I just know wvu's success depends on how officials want to call the game.

One upset I would look at is iona over Iowa St. Iowa St is not deep and the game is in Denver

This is a trendy pick, but I would stay away from it. Iona falls into the "media darling" category. Per Kenpom, Iona has a pretty decent offense (#60) and they play at a fast pace, but their defensive efficiency (#120) is bad for a tournament team. ISU's defensive efficiency isn't much better (#101), but ISU has the #3 ranked offensive efficiency number.

I think ISU will run them out of the gym.....and they could even score 100.

Max, I tend to stay away from the trendy upset picks.

As far as upsets, I'm looking at:
UALR over Purdue
Michigan/Tulsa winner over Notre Dame
Chattanooga over Indiana
Gonzaga over Seton Hall
VCU over Oregon State

I haven't started to look enough to know yet. I was just commenting on the high altitude causing Iowa St problems since they only go 7 deep. If McCay gets tired he starts to foul on D. They can't afford to lose him.

Don't look now but the Big 12 in danger of only having 3 teams advancing to the 2nd round unless Texas can pull off a win.

Typical Big 12 tournament play.:facepalm

WVU is only tough if your guard play can't handle their press. We just didn't play a good game against them In the conference tourney.

Boy was I wrong!:ez-roll: SFA is salty and WV posses down their leg. Brackets and match ups are impossible.
